We tried the full tasting menue, and it was worth every dollar. It may be expensive, but it's worth it. (Tasting Menu can last 3 hours) Call in advance to make a reservation. Definitely recommend it.

Try to grab a seat at the chef counter in the back or at the bar counter for a more, intimate yet relaxing feel. Omakase course is always delicious. Awesome pressed sushi - reserve it ahead of time.

Totally authentic Japanese - which we all know can actually be kinda trick to find! You know it's good when the menu is in Japanese and English. Order anything with Tuna and you won't regret it!

A true hidden East Village sushi gem. The Kaiseki dinner is the way to go here, but you can order many of the dishes on their a la carte for a fraction of the price.

The food, presented on beautiful handmade plates, is gorgeous and savory. The few desserts—including an extra silky crème caramel—are just as ethereal as the savory food.

really authentic Japanese cuisine that reminded me of Tokyo. pricey, but the pressed sushi selections, the cod, and the tempura platter were worth the sticker shock. also, the bathroom is sublime.

It’s a beautiful space and possesses a transportive quality that makes 7th Street seem like a world away. We also loved their tea selections, you must try them!
